Feel sorry for Adam. He is a very nice guy, but to run a custodial setup takes a huge systems expertise and high equipment costs.
Yes but it is a service with large demand and growth potential.
Events like this recent one should hopefully help strengthen the platforms systems.
The rewards for developing the platform might take time to realize but are potentially large.

He is doing this for free and with no KYC, that is why it is popular. This can't last forever.

It is a great service enabling onboarding of people who otherwise would not be using LN.
Hopefully Adam will reap some considerable reward in the long run- in my experience the most profitable things are often not initially intended to be so, but are to engage in work and principles you believe in.
Even if Coinos is not ever hugely profitable having developed such a platform has to be a huge achievement and demonstrable accumulation of skills which could easily result in access to other opportunities.
Think of the investment the traditional banking payments system has made to develop its payment systems to the current point- its massive in time and billions of dollars - Coinos is leading the Bitcoin ecosystem development equivalent...that is massive and very likely to be an excellent investment.

Yes, his reward is experience and a sense of accomplishment
