Yes but it is a service with large demand and growth potential. Events like this recent one should hopefully help strengthen the platforms systems. The rewards for developing the platform might take time to realize but are potentially large.
It is a great service enabling onboarding of people who otherwise would not be using LN. Hopefully Adam will reap some considerable reward in the long run- in my experience the most profitable things are often not initially intended to be so, but are to engage in work and principles you believe in. Even if Coinos is not ever hugely profitable having developed such a platform has to be a huge achievement and demonstrable accumulation of skills which could easily result in access to other opportunities. Think of the investment the traditional banking payments system has made to develop its payment systems to the current point- its massive in time and billions of dollars - Coinos is leading the Bitcoin ecosystem development equivalent...that is massive and very likely to be an excellent investment.
Yes it seems to be ~ I have a transactions gap only between 9.30am (NZ time) May 9th and 9.10pm May 11. The mining payment for May 10 (due daily about 9pm NZ time) was never processed but was sent the next day on May 11. The May 11th 9.10 pm incoming payment was the mining payment from May 10 and May 11 bundled together. As out going payments were frozen until very recently it seems incoming payments were restored first (yesterday) and in the last few hours out going payments are working again.
Feel sorry for Adam. He is a very nice guy, but to run a custodial setup takes a huge systems expertise and high equipment costs.

He is doing this for free and with no KYC, that is why it is popular. This can't last forever.

Yes, his reward is experience and a sense of accomplishment
My Coinos wallet missed its sats. 🥲
I hope my sats are still there
I think its still down.

Same here. Can not send.
Still working for me.
Still working for me- just sent a small payment.
Maybe some accounts are still blocked for payments?
Is the transaction history back? I noticed missing 3 days of transactions in the log
