It has happened to me before but it's been a while. I tried a few different browsers on my laptop and phone until one worked.

Are you consuming YouTube more than usual?
So you are sucking down some of Youtube's vast storage capability, as compared to most people who only open one video at a time, and Youtube is thinking you might be a bit greedy. Web crawlers and bots also do this, and it costs Youtube money. If you are a bot, Youtube wants to throw you out of the system.
This is the case I guess.

No more the usual.
I think it was just a temporary issue with YouTube because it is back to working as normal, without login.
reply
👍That's not a bug in their system. They seriously considered you a bot. ;)

yeah, I see this message regularly. Changing the vpn server usually helps.

this is from long time ago and is already everywhere especially if you use a vpn and a decent browser blocking crap. not even embedded videos could watch.

I initial thought it was ad blocker or VPN but then I tried on several different machines on different ISP, with and without Ad blockers.
All had the same result.
I think it was just a temporary issue with YouTube because it is back to Working with out login.
Side Note: So far YouTube and my Ad blocker has kept working. Even know there has been several news articles in recent history. As you mention.

Of cos the your login credentials are vital for you to access your channel.

I am referring to just viewing a video
reply
You didn't drop the link to the videos, how do we view it then?
reply
And even if you want to stream a video on YouTube, you're still required to login for subscription and notification purposes
reply
But you don't need to have subscriptions and notifications to watch YouTube videos. I've never had an account, and I've been watching videos for years.

Agreed.
I am always amazed when I happen to use someone's phone or computer. They are "logged in" to everything.
No reason to make it easy for Youtube to track you, just to watch a video of a Cat playing the piano.
Now it's obvious you've never subscribed to any YouTube channel, neither have you gotten any notifications from one before.
My original post is not an issue any more. Nothing to do here.
There was a viewing issue on all videos but it is now fixed.

I did notice this morning that they are further obfuscating "sign in as guest" now on smart tv app. I think it's only a matter of time.

This post is vague and clueless, I'm even confused.
