If you came to "earn sats" you could use your time better elsewhere to earn fiat and buy bitcoin or better yet earn bitcoin. However, if you came to learn and share what you know and have learned, you will be rewarded with sats.

It creates a good incentive to share knowledge and opinions @Jerrian. A little nudge to try. If you hang out here long enough you will notice we don't have "the big names" spending a lot of time here. Their typical engagement farming doesn't work out here. But if you engage in honest discussion and people appreciate it you will be rewarded.

SN is more of a value for value place than any other site I've found. Its more thoughtful than Nostr (though I hope Nostr changes). It is way more signal than noise than any other place including X.

Its a great place to ask questions. You can even put up bounties and I recommend you do that. The sats I've received on SN are far less valuable than the knowledge I've gained. That knowledge has helped me avoid stupid mistakes and encouraged me to try things that have increased my control over my bitcoin.
