I just downloaded the Orange Pill App and it's asking me to choose a paid membership. Does it have paid tiers only? I'm more than willing to pay for something I find valuable, but I kinda want to try it out first.
Yes. It's a paid app. Some people like it. Some hate it. It's probably best to do some research before committing to it.

I paid a $3.99 monthly to try it out.
I immediately found an event near me: a Bitcoin summit at UCLA Anderson in May. Cool! It's good to know about stuff like that.
The other thing that strikes me is that the quality of peoples' photos is quite high. Are people using it as a dating app? lol
Anyway, we'll see if I keep paying for it, but finding out about the Anderson summit was worth more than $3.99 to me already.

Initially, I believe it was meant for Bitcoin dating. Only dudes on it, so they quickly shifted it to a meet-up type thing

I saw a couple of chicks, maybe 1 in 5 were. But I live in LA so our of the larger markets I guess

I'm happy to hear that. I have made just about all my in real life stacker contacts through the app. I'm not saying it is fantastic, but it is sometimes useful and seems to be getting better.

Its a typical walled garden except the garden is for bitcoiners which makes it ok apparently

are you referring to the paywall?

thanks for downloading the app! we don't do free trials because we don't want the app to be flooded with scammers, spammers, bots and shitcoiners. the monthly membership is $3 and can be cancelled anytime, when you sign up we send you 1,000 to your OPA wallet, so really is $2
if you'd like to know what other users do within the app feel free to check our app store reviews, we think you'll be impressed

I paid for the first month to check it out, see my comments here: #962204
