Its terrible how people are being driven into a fearful frenzy by those that claim to care about the immigrants. Like everyone, they are pawns in a big political game.

It’s sad and the media and the left are hyping up a case or incident as soon as they can but then you find out the details and it’s a no brainer. The police reports for Garcia were well pretty freaking clear and the Harvard I think professor that was arrested entering the country was brining in undeclared biological material and on her phone discussed how she wasn’t going to declare it even though she had to and willingly broke the law.
Remember when they freaked out over the school and church exceptions being lifted but wow it didn’t become a big deal at all. ICE wasn’t breaking down doors. People were freaked out for no reason.

The part that is wrong is usurping due process. I didn't trust Bush when they were holding people indefinitely for being "terrorists". I didn't trust Obama when he had a kill list that included US citizens and I don't trust that the government will not make mistakes here. Those that love Trump so much that they are giving him a pass on this are not being true to what they say they care about. I remember when many conservatives and libertarians spoke out against Bush and Obama. Not so many doing so now. The people speaking out seem to be doing so for political reasons and the gut reaction of the right is to defend Trump. Its what's bad about politics. It because a team thing where both sides defend their side for doing things they would oppose if it were done by the other side.
People being mistakenly arrested and taken to a foreign prison with zero access to the legal system isn't something to sneeze at. Its an over-reaction. I am not even saying they HAVE made a mistake yet. How would I know. But they could and I suspect they will. Due process is supposedly something that is an American value.

Wait who is in the foreign prison? Garcia? The guy that had a hold put on his removal due to fear of MS 13 but was arrested once and in another instance with MS 13 gang members he so feared?
The vast majority of those in that prison are Venezuelan nations as well as El Salvadorans. If you cross the border illegally well it’s a pretty cut and clear crime. There isn’t a reason for it we have numerous ports of entry along the border you can go and apply for asylum for.
Is it unfortunate how it’s playing out in the media? Yes. However I’m sick and tired of people gaming our system and draining American Taxpayer resources.

You are missing the point. You are assuming they aren't making any mistakes. You are trusting them. Imagine it was an admin you didn't trust?
I don't disagree. There shouldn't be MS 13 criminals in the US. I get the desire here. I just don't trust the state to not make mistakes and I value due process. Those in the media are playing politics. They don't care about these people. They are pawns. Just like the kids in cages was happening under Obama and they were silent. But, it doesn't concern you that there isn't due process being followed? Not at all?

Oh my bad I read your initial thing wrong!
Going back to Bush the only reason I kinda sorta give him a pass is because Congress gave him the pass and truly I think after 9/11 the Nation was panicked, scared, etc. it doesn’t make it right but given the general atmosphere I honestly think it could have been so much worse.
Obama took it way too far with killing the American citizen in a drone strike. Honestly with all the evidence they had I wish they would have gone in and extracted him and jailed him for life because that way he would suffer. The drone made it to easy.
With Trump I’ve been waiting to see how the Supreme Court stuff plays out as they issued him a sharp and united rebuke. That being said I haven’t been watching it to closely as I have been prepping for a Committee Markup and Hearing next Tuesday and Wednesday. Right now I’m actually at MIT on a staff del. So 100% that’s something I need to look into and get the updates of.
Trump seems to be following the Andrew Jackson path and possibly dabbling in the FDR way of doing things as well…
In summery I think if you are a known gang member we can expedite deportation or if your order have been issued.

I agree. Trump is following the FDR path but few call him out for doing it because people are blinded by the hero worship of FDR. He was a strong man like Trump. He as do most "great" presidents took huge liberties with the office abusing power over and over again. But... people like them so its OK.
I don't think most people care about due process as long as its not their personal rights being abused. But... that's not how it works. People are fine with a strong man as long as he's THEIR strong man. Not new, people should just be aware of what they actually value and believe. Not some lofty ideal that they claim to believe in.
