Let's talk.  One possibility is I could give you an SQL script that would extract the data I'm thinking, you can scrub out any data that would lead to privacy concerns, and send the data over a secure channel.



That'd be awesome! I'm open to anything that would allow us to respect all stackers' privacy.

I would like to write a research paper using Stacker News data if 

I would even happily grant coauthorship status which is sometimes a courtesy given to data providers

I think data from SN could get published in journals like 

Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization

.  Possibly some crypto/computer journals as well but I'm less familiar with those

SN release: receive prompt, random poll choice order, reply subscription fixes
