A federal judge blocked the Trump administration Monday from ending a program that aimed to revoke the legal status for 600,000 Venezuelans to live and work temporarily in the U.S. and leave 350,000 vulnerable to deportation.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem in February ordered an end to the program called Temporary Protected Status. She found the immigrants a burden on local governments and said the Venezuelans included members of the crime gang Tren de Aragua that President Donald Trump declared a foreign terrorist organization.
But U.S. District Judge Edward Chen in Northern California blocked her Monday while the case plays out in court.

I am always amazed how much power these federal judges have. Is this a legitimate check and balances on power? Or is is overreach?
Lawfare, the courts have been weaponized beyond repair, my money is still on a constitutional convention is being set up.

Sometimes these judges abuse their power...but in this case I think it was a good decision. I've never been pro-immigration...everyone should solve their own problems at home, not go somewhere else to "make a living", or live on state benefits for years in a state where they've never paid a cent in taxes, but expect to be supported... I'm sorry if my opinion is unpopular :)

Why does that surprise you?
Is the government above the law? I wouldn't want my country to be ran like Facebook. Imagine the law being as malleable as their ToS.
