If I ever have a cat (not likely), I will consider this breed also when choosing one. Interesting thing: According to old Russian folk tales, the Siberian cat brings good luck. The stories tell of its ability to heal a Russian prince and bring him back from the brink of death, and of its ability to ward off evil spirits.

This one and the forest cat live in similar conditions. I have seen that these cats can climb up trees quickly. Almost as fast as a squirrel.
