I know it’s easy peasy Maths compared to the logarithmic and algorithmic functions and equations you guys have no sweat with, but I was quite proud that I managed to solve this. I wouldn’t have known how to tackle this last year, and yes, I’m a full-fledged adult haha

I'd set it up algebraically but for my kids who haven't learned algebra I'd tell them to do guess and check. Is there a different way to do it?

This method is also taught in Romania (intermittent representation), but I hate it...and what a coincidence...my son hates it too :)

Cool! I never heard about intermittent representations until today. Nice to know another country is using it.
Well I like the model method…if I can use it successfully to solve the problems haha. But I still need to train hard in this area
