Was he not under any contract? I mean I feel they could have recouped something even if it was a 7th

reply

Yes but he had no guaranteed money so they can just cut him and I guess other teams would rather negotiate with him as a FA than give up draft capital.

Ahhh alrighty that tracks! Esp since his market wasn’t going to be wild…

reply

He is either going to follow Rogers or play on the West coast. That doesn’t leave a lot of teams.

Could you see him going somewhere say Buffalo, HTX, or Denver? They all seem to be teams that would take a waiver on a vet minimum contract with the ability to win now

reply

Maybe but he seems to prefer to go to the west coast. I guess if the contract made sense he would go elsewhere.

reply

Was he in captivity? That poor guy, I'm happy be gets to go home and be with his family.

reply

He was playing for the Jets so one could argue he was.

🤣🤣🤣🤣

Absolutely Savage!

The jets... The biggest clown show in sports.

Wow that didn’t last long

I think he have some opportunities to transfer, and I'm pretty sure he will find a team. Btw...here is the article from nfl website: https://www.nfl.com/news/jets-release-wide-receiver-davante-adams-after-no-trade-materializes

Do you want to trade Mayer and a 5th rounder for Jordan Mason?

reply

Maybe if it were a worse RB draft. I'd rather just grab Skattebo in the 5th.

reply

He won’t be there in the 5th but it’s a fair point about the quality of the draft at RB.
