When compared to a civil war or world War, i don't consider covid to be that big of a deal.
Covid was battle of the mind. When your mind is conquered then you're going no where. Think about the whole world going through this battle at almost the same time. Many are yet to recover.

I think the definitions are all kinda loose anyway. I don't know how much Strauss and Howe really believed in the specifics of their prediction, but I think the logic of generational cycles has a lot of truth to it.
Actually, the idea itself is not really new. Thomas Cole painted about it, and I remember learning that the ancient Persians were aware of this idea (strong king builds great empire, it's maintained by his successor, but the third generation brings ruin... that kind of thing)

Fair enough! Though I don't know if astrology is rooted in any truthful logic, whereas I'd say generational cycles are.

I don't think generational cycles are based on logic at all. It would mean that events have to effect an entire generation of people in another similar manner. Let's look at covid for instance, some people turned into whimpering pussies, and others lost all faith j. The government. Others didn't even care!
It's too simplistic of a view on how humans react to events.
