On my end I work in Congress so I do my best tackling sources from across the spectrum to try to best prep Members and do my work on legislation esp. in the Energy area. While our system is far from perfect in the US we take way to much for granted because are an isolated island at the end of the day (no offense Mexico and Canada).
Having a job that requires me to sift through allllll the BS from Fox News to MSNBC to Zero Hedge to X and CNN I have to say I think I have gotten quiet good at what I say and why I present them as such. At the end of the day it is my job after all. I forgot who it was but there was someone earlier who said I was a failed Republican leech because I wasnt MAGA enough and I wish that person would see this lol
The BS is insane, I agree with that. Much BS comes from official sources too - governments have had millennia to perfect the only real institutional foundation: gaslighting. But it's all we got - so I don't envy your job. Gotta be hard to sift through all the bad takes.
Our own weaknesses are the hardest to see though, but I'm sure that when the Trump mania (=rating) cools down a bit, like it does every presidential cycle no matter what color, congress will be much more confident to reflect and fight a bit. That will be a much more interesting, but perhaps feeling as if less exciting, time.

Honestly you are one of the first people who have realized that its not easy to do all the research I have to do on a daily basis. Especially because I do not work in a personal office I work on a Committee which means we write the bills meaning I have to further try and sort through it all.
I agree with the weaknesses and its why I have to admit the person that said I wasn't a good MAGA Republican I wanted to say look man you have to shift through everything. What Trump says isnt gold and certainty isnt right all the time I mean look at his Ukraine comments today.
I will say though having a President that I am not scared might croak on me at any given moment is nice. Biden I mean in all honestly it just seemed like elder abuse at the end and while I disagreed strongly with a ton of his policies no one deserved to be embarrassed as he was.
It will be interesting after the first 100 days that is when everything is going to ratchet up a couple of levels

I can only imagine how pissy you'd be if you cannot find a source to some claim and have to beat it out of your colleague. I mean I know how it does for me when I have absolutely zero corroboration to some info i need to make a decision on. Trump will definitely keep you on your toes too 😆
Re: Biden. It was appalling. And I feel really sorry for the man despite not liking his politics at all (though arguably I haven't been liking anyone's politics since 15 years now)

On another note I will say after dealing with Solomon tonight tomorrow will be a big day. I will finally reveal who I am with links included lol. Kinda getting sick of people telling me I lie about my job and tbh if they are stupid enough to threaten me Capitol PD and the FBI send out people with every threat now so I am not concerned!

We all know he will not tomorrow provide any proof of working in Congress because
a- he doesn't so he cannot
b- if he did he would not be so stupid as to claim he did
c- it is the hollow man bluster of someone who cannot back his assertions with credible reasoned argument- they instead fall back on asserting some sort of authority which in turn is never evidenced.
Either that or you are some loser living in your mothers basement.

Umm I was responding to the guy that zapped us not the guy thats well blaming the Jews because well go read my comment if you want to see what I said. Solomon you dont use any facts within the last 6 months from any sort of reputable sources. You used the CRS and idk what you were reading but the freaking report said the opposite of what you implied it said.
Idk maybe learn to read? I can only assume English isnt your first language just like you have made clear the US is not the country you are from or a citizen of. You have no clue how the US government works or functions and at the same time a guy zaps you 500 and you still turn around and insult him and numerous people across the board.
