Hello 🤗
Welcome to the Daily Discussion Thread of SN ~HealthAndFitness 💪Club.
In the club we.....
- Share our daily workout 🧘🤸🚴🏋️🧗🏊⛷️goals and results
- Ask questions to the experts (fitness freaks)
- Applause with zaps⚡ and comments on your success.
- Also boo you (all of us) when you miss your workout routine. 🤣
The first thing you gotta do to join the ~HealthAndFitness club is share your workout routine in the comments.
The cost for joining the club is 10 sats. 😜
Thanks in anticipation.
Stay Happy and Healthy.
To my fellow founders:
As it's gonna be daily post for the ~HealthAndFitness club, I need your inputs and suggestions on it. @grayruby @Undisciplined @realBitcoinDog
This is a great idea. The original ~fitness started out with an accountability thread. Only a couple of us used it, but I loved it.
The way that worked was we shared what we were doing for daily fitness, like you asked people to do, and then the next days post tagged people with their goals.
Thanks. I'll do it. What's with the 10 sats fee? I don't think it makes so much difference in revenue. For the sake of this post and in general either it be 1 sat as was, or 2 sats, but not more than that.
I tagged you to discuss changing the fee. I suggested 2 sats, but @realBitcoinDog likes to go big and we went along with it. Let's see how it goes, as this month's experiment, and we'll revisit it for March.
A 1000% increase is a real biggy. 2 sats would have been better. I want more Stackers to engage. You know ~stacker_sports and ~healthandfitness aree territories which are getting max engagement with comments. I don't wanna discourage it by increasing fee.
We'll see how it goes. RBD and I love tinkering with the parameters, but we'll adjust if it's a problem.
Part of this being an active community is that OP's and the founders zap comments, so the 10 sat fee should be trivial.
Yes, it's trivial, I agree. Still I don't see it as much beneficial as zapping can be. How I view it .... The someone who's spending 10 sats to comment, would not zap the replies to him.
Maybe so, but we only learn by experimenting. I remember when posting fees got raised from one sat and people thought going to 10 would discourage posting and zapping, but the opposite happened.
I ran from my workplace to the subway station. Great start to a new week 👍
Wow! It's unique. Who does that if not late for office?
Do you have this as routine? What other things you do to keep yourself fit and healthy?
I started a low-calorie diet at the beginning of January and have been very successful in losing weight. I’m eating better, with more vegetables, greens, and proteins. I’ve already lost 11 kilos and haven’t started working out yet—I need to organize my family’s schedule for that.
11 kilos in 1 and a half month, very impressive!! What's your goal? How much more you need to lose? We need daily reporting on it here or we'll consider you gained 1kg everyday you miss to report your weight.
My goal is to lose 30 kilos, so I need to lose 20 more. Now, I’ll do it daily to stay motivated and inspire others as well. This month, I’ll start working out.
Great! Here's one power yoga video. Just do whatever you can Outta it, it'll shape your body normally. No need to push for gyms right now as a suggestion.
view on youtu.beThat's amazing!
I started a new Workit challenge today. It's only 7.5k steps per day for a week, but the buy-in was very high, 100k.
We need daily reporting on it or we can assume you've lost 100k sats for being lazy. How many steps you've done today?
I'm still drinking my coffee, so I've barely done any. That said you should assume I've lost those sats, until I earn them back (plus the bonus).
I'll definitely post my daily steps here and probably move Fast February here, as well.
That'd be great.
I run and do some light workout daily. Is it enough to be part of the club?
Great. You're absolutely in. But don't forget to mark your attendance or you'll be booed like never before.
Good idea! I've been on a small recovery break, I'll start posting daily soon...
Great! You can still share your today's fitness marks, and tomorrow's goals here. Remember, we'll consider you "hazy lazy" if you don't. ;)
I'm being lazy right now 😁
Step 1: check ~HealthAndFitness
Step 2: Abs
Step 3: ?
You know you'll be held accountable for taking only two steps. I guess you never take step 3 for your kid hardly allow you.
GIVE ME ABS OR GIVE ME DEATH
