This debate reminds me of the quote: "Generals always fight the last war" (meaning they always rely on same tactics and strategies they previously used).

I think Bitcoin, by being purely digital, doesn't neatly fit into either MoE or SoV definition. Yet people like JP who are using their old analog definitions of MoE / SoV are continually befuddled as to why its not "obeying the rules".
