As bitcoin catches on as a SoV, it's only logical to assume more people will accept it as a form of payment (and prefer it as such). If it's preferred as a form of payment, one expects there to be discounts for paying with bitcoin. That induces more people to use it as a MoE.

This always seemed pretty straightforward to me. I think people are basically just impatient for us to be further along than we are.
