Yeah, I read your thoughts on this the other day and there's definitely some merit to that view. But overall, I find zapping to be a direct way of supporting what you want to see more of. Whereas likes are just straight up pointless. Perhaps the only thing they help is the algorithm.

One thing I like about SN is the fact that there is no like button. I wish nostr got rid of it as well. It's fiat af.
