Israeli Prime Minster is expected to make a statement soon but Israeli's Security Cabinet after a four and a half hour meeting has come out and adopted Trump's ultimatum to Hamas. Previously the Security Cabinet has been split over various things in the war including this ceasefire however the Cabinet was unanimous in backing Trumps demand to release all the hostages by Saturday now and supports his vision for the future of Gaza.
At the same time reports are coming out that despite the Security Cabinet unanimously supporting Trumps demand and the Gaza future Israel is still going to try and get three hostages released on Saturday. It seems that they are running two parallel operations or in other words... doing everything they can to get some people out by Saturday. Prime Minster Netanyahu has asked the Cabinet members to not talk about the Gaza plan until further notice.
With Israel beefing up the military and already prepping to go back in the next few days will be telling of how it will go.
It is very frustrating watching all this play out.

I saw a piece by the ISW that talked about how for Hamas they needed to do this because they are running out of hostages and thus the only leverage that they have. It makes sense sadly and the last surviving hostages are going to be so so hard to get back.... They might he return bodies over people who are still alive just to try and inflict pain on Israel
