did you watch it yourself?
Not yet, was just asking @RevHodl where to find it. I found this out at 2:30 AM

I watched it, the spirit of what @RevHodl communicated to me is upheld I think.
@k00b literally misrepresented the monero fork of Bisq I included in the guide. He said I'm talking about coinjoinin bitcoin??
Bisq already let's you buy bitcoin with monero, as does robosats. But all the fees are paid in bitcoin. And as a fellow bitcoiner, if I new I could use a fork of Bisq that was cheaper to run (because the deposits and mining fees are all denominated in XMR which is cheaper to transact in), I might be interested. I haven't run the fork yet, just letting people know it's out there. The post was literally about Bisq, and this is a fork... It seems relevant...
And @sethforprivacy mentioned in the latest Monero Monthly on Max's Ungovernable Misfits podcast that the current iteration of Bisq makes it trivial for people snooping the blockchain to spot Bisq transactions due to the way the deposits and transactions are crafted, it creates a signature, and IF people use the Bisq token (a kind of colored Bitcoin (never used it) that let's Bisq devs get paid), it's even MORE obvious you did a Bisq transaction. Now me, as a non-KYC bitcoin user and miner, I don't care too much, BUT a monero fork where these fees and deposits are settled in monero would mitigate that privacy issue...
Nuance people?
Who's the dude on the left BTW? If guy on the right is @k00b.
I'm actually fine (and glad) if people like @DarthCoin or whomever delete the ~monero territory or me... Like, cool, that's the way SN works...

I have to admit, you are kind of exhausting to interact with since you seem to go from extreme to extreme, while asking for nuances yourself.
Examples:
- you accuse Coinos of rugging in the title of a post (#882458)
- you went from 420 sats to 1 sat
- you said the spirit of what @RevHodl communicated is upheld because k00b said the monero fork of Bisq is coinjoining if I understood your reason for why it's upheld right even though this point has nothing to do with ~monero
- you still think SN or someone might delete ~monero or you

Okay. So a few things.
you accuse Coinos of rugging in the title of a post (#882458)
I don't think Coinos is rugging me. It's just a title. The first line is, "I'm sure there's a reason for the technical difficulties that aren't malicious..." and the point of the post is that I'm moving to Zeuspay...
you went from 420 sats to 1 sat
So? I paid my 50,000 sats... What does it matter to you what I put the cost after that point? SN can make the minimum 50 or 100 sats if you think 1 sat is too low. I'm genuinely surprised to see this in your list. I don't mind taking a hit for a month. It's an experiment to see. @k00b even said this in the Live broadcast.
Again, a misunderstanding. @RevHodl communicated that there was a general sense of disgust, and I agree with that. It had nothing to do with @k00b who as I watched back a second time, was super on point. It's more the guy to the left pushing the "yeah I muted it and him immediately" kind of vibe. @k00b was chill. He seems solid. Other than the weird statement of the coinjoining which we got cleared up. I think he either misinterpreted or misremembered, but it's chill.
you still think SN or someone might delete ~monero or you
Typo... I saw my mistake after the 10 minutes were up. Meant to say, I'm happy to have anyone mute the territory or me if they chose, I have a few territories muted too because I'm not interested in them.
I'm extremely sorry to see you write this but as a sign of good faith, I'll delete the post about coinos. I actually initially wrote a line at the top apologizing for the click baity title...

I have no problem with 1 sat, it was just a big surprise that you went from "420 sats is $0.42. Hardly insurmountable." to 1 sat. What changed your mind so quickly so hard? Interacting with someone that can change his views so quickly is exhausting.
(edit: Oh, I see that #882107 changed your mind)
I'm extremely sorry
No need to be sorry (especially not to be "extremely sorry"), I just wanted to let you know how you might be perceived since I think you're a good guy but you're just a bit all over the place sometimes.
Deleting the coinos post now just because I used it as an example is actually another very good example what I meant with "from extreme to extreme" lol
I've been using RetoSwap since it first appeared on the scene (around May of last year) and it's only gotten better with time. I use it somewhat regularly and have had zero problems and haven't heard anyone who really has for whatever that is worth. They have a SimpleX groupchat on their website too if you want to ask questions or see whats going on.

Thanks actually...
I feel like there have to be other people out there like me whose unit of account is sats, but see utility in monero also... for me monero != the million other pre-mining, self-enriching founder, vaporware projects out there. So I'm surprised to see how many fellow bitcoiners are so quick to lump monero into the pile with every other one of the > million (and growing) shitcoins.
BTW, I saw you guys live at Nashville. I was in the crowd with a Zeus shirt on and Sparrow hat. @evankaloudis crushed it as always. I maintain he's the best Pod guest a Pod can get.
