Cross posting should work like hashtags.
The territory owners should be given freedom to charge for their hashtags. If an 'OP' wants to post in different territories, the post will remain 'One' but it will show different tags under the title.

Agreed, they should basically be thought of as tags that a poster can pay to apply to their post

It should go a step further than that and allow anyone to crosspost an existing post into another territory.
Doing so should put the post back at the top of "recent" and restart the zap clock for rewards purposes.
The tricky element is how to split territory shares of zaps.

To go a step further, we need seperation of territories, or some type of autonomy I guess.

Yes, it's tricky. For now I think SN can provide a feature of adding territory tag to posts for some fees. And show the posts under each tagged territory. It can solve it for now.
