I tried setting up my SN wallet with my Start9 node with NWC. Couldn't get it working. I posted this a while back: #758499
In the comments there, Alby told me NWC isn't supported anymore. So, I downloaded Alby Hub for my node and set that up.
Still can't get it to work with SN. Ugh...
do you have a channel open with stacker news ?
No, I should do that. Do you have their public key handy?
I just went and checked again.... and I guess I did successfully get my node working with SN.... for receives. It's the spend side that I can't seem to set up.
Also, if my node is receiving zaps..... then why does my wallet balance in SN increase also?? (not talking CC's)
Edit: I guess it increases due to daily rewards from SN, and not zaps....?

The green number in the top-right corner is your CC + reward sats balance. If it increases during the day, you're receiving CCs.
You will always receive CCs from stackers who don't have attached a wallet.
make sure you set:
"receive credits for zaps and deposits below" = 0 in settings

I've never been able to get SN and Alby Hub to connect on my node. Not sure why. Like I said, I haven't had the time to dive into figuring it out but plan on it
for your self-custodial setup: running and LND node on start9, using albyhub service...its working well for me to have send/receive setup using NWC. I have a private channel open with Stacker News which I think helps. It's pretty rare that a send payment fails for me.
