I do tend to hate Rsync's style of linkposting. I'm a believer in adding value to links, if only because the headline alone may not be enough (or may be deceptive), and things I share are still a part of my identity (this predates SN -- this has been my approach in Google Reader, in emails to friends, in chat, etc).
That said, I still clicked some links he posted (because they were often useful), and there's also something to be said for just having a decent amount of content here. And bitcoin news -- unlike, say, a cool science or sports story I want to share -- it stuff much more within the general area-of-interest for most folks here. If there were a good single-source publication/feed, I suppose an @HN-style bot might be a way to offer that, but I'm not sure there's anything like that (other than SN itself, and that would be recursive).
