What did you think about the big NHL trade?
Good for Carolina. Buffalo tried to get the Carolina player but he said no F’n way I’m going to buffalo.
Carolina is going for but it’s too bad for Colorado and the Blackhawks too they basically got a bag of pucks
Nice to see Carolina going for it. Hopefully they sweep the Leafs in the playoffs. A buddy of mine is friends with Brent Burns so he roots for Carolina.
Ahh yess Brent is the guy who blew up the stick of Ryan when he was about to score an empty net goal last time we played them. One of the rare buffalo wins against a great team
He is a great player. My buddy has known him since they were kids. My buddy is a few years older than Brent but he is close friends with Brent's cousin so he knows the family very well. He went to Burnes' wedding. He was hoping he would win a cup at some point so he would bring it back to Barrie, where they are both from, and he could party with the Cup.

I have a distant relative who is a former NHLer. I think a cousin third time removed or something like that. Never met him though.

I would agree, I wanted to see more from him TBH. Sometimes I think maybe Johnsons should sell the team, maybe they are the bad curse...lol. Where is Curtis Martin? he always wanted to own the team....
