So almost all apps available in the US are not connected to Mainland China due to the Great Firewall. This has become an issue in the eyes of Chinese Officials who have ordered the company to do what Bytedance did and essentially create a Chinese Mainland version and an international version.

Interesting. Wonder if that then becomes a constant war of Americans trying to get on native Chinese apps which come out with international versions that then get banned in the US or if Americans will just give up lmao.
My guess is Americans (by that I mean the social media addicts) give up.
