I am currently setting up a new one. I used the old private key. The node is currently 11.56% synchronized.
I am keeping my fingers crossed that I will get my lightning balance back.

I'm not sure how umbrel works but you might need to manually restore your channel backups. If so, be very careful.
From what I read, there is an 'Automatic Encrypted Backups' for lightning. Let's see if it works when I am fully synchronized.
You should be fine if you have your seed noted down. I had a SSD failure and it worked well (just took a bit of time) - you just need to wait for a full node sync and recover your wallet from the seed.

I have got the on-chain funds, but not the lighting funds, which were much higher. Let me dig deeper to see
I updated Umbrel to 0.5.3 and the recovery of lightning channels worked with my local backup. I could have used the automatic backup from umbrel as well.
Update:
my lighting funds are back on-chain. I had to update Umbrel to 0.5.3 to recover my lightning channel funds.
