The showdown is set. Bills vs. Ravens 6:30pm Sunday. This will be a game of the ages. If you want to be the best you have to BEAT the best.
But I am asking stackers for some help (mainly @Undisciplined)

How in the hell did the Raiders beat Baltimore??

Looking for Some in-depth information on this game as I didn’t watch it. Is it something the Bills can reproduce on Sunday?
How did Vegas stop the two headed monster of Lamar and Henry?

Would be curious to hear what @Undisciplined thinks but just seems like an early season anomaly to me. Glancing at the stats, the Ravens had 120 more yards than Raiders in that game. Each QB threw an INT. Minshew got sacked 5 times yet they put up 26 points. Looks like the Raiders did a pretty good job not getting completely roasted in the run game but they did give up 150 yards on the ground so can’t really say they shut them down.
My guess is luck.

The Raiders have played Baltimore well during Lamar's tenure, which only makes it stranger since there's been no organizational consistency over that time.
150 yards on the ground feels like an average day for a Raiders opponent.

150 against Henry and Lamar is not bad. They have had a number of games where they rushed for 200 or more but it’s not like they totally shut them down.

Gardner Minshew was on fire as the Raiders’ QB. He stayed calm under pressure and led three scoring drives in the fourth quarter. Davante Adams and rookie tight end Brock Bowers were his go-to guys. Together, they caught 18 passes for 208 yards and a touchdown, making life tough for Baltimore’s defense.
On defense, the Raiders made sure Lamar Jackson couldn’t get comfortable. They didn’t let him or the Ravens’ offense make big plays, and Maxx Crosby was a beast on the field, messing up their plans over and over again.
Special teams were another story. Justin Tucker, one of the best kickers in the league, missed a key field goal, and the Ravens kept hurting themselves with penalties and turnovers. The Raiders took advantage of all that and didn’t let the chances slip away.
For the Bills, the lesson is simple. You have to keep the pressure on Lamar Jackson to throw him off his game. Don’t let their receivers get open for big plays. And most importantly, if the Ravens mess up, make them pay for it.
If Buffalo follows this playbook, they’ve got a good shot at taking down the Ravens. Let’s see what they bring on Sunday.

I'll say that it didn't feel totally flukey while watching it. Looking at the box score, though, it sure looks like the Ravens were the better team.
Here's how the Raiders won:
  1. Third down stops: the Raiders held the Raavens to 3/11 on third down conversions.
  2. Make your kicks: Carlson was 4/4 and Tucker was 3/4
  3. Field position: The Ravens best starting field position was their own 45. The Raiders started four drives with better field position than that, including two that started in Ravens territory.
  4. Penalties: The Ravens shot themselves in the foot with 12 penalties for 109 yards, while the Raiders only had 3 penalties for 15 yards.

Raiders beat ravens in week 2 at Baltimore as 10 point under dog
Following week they lost to Carolina and Andy Dalton in Vegas
Classic Raiders

Absolutely!
That was the most Raiders two week stretch that you'll ever see. None of us were that surprised by either result. In fact, we were mostly terrified at the news that Darnold was starting.

good analysis
The Ravens defense also gave up a lot of big plays in the first half of the season
Dean Pees came out of retirement to 'advise' the DC Zach Orr who is a rookie coordinator
not quite the Rooney rule but same principle

Raiders just had more superstitious dudes who didn’t wash their jock straps on their team that day

Hmmm I paid the bounty but it’s still active. How do I mark this bounty paid?
