Worked with a student on improving his Math first thing in the morning.

Challenge A has been struggling with Maths in Year 1, particularly failing in the subject.

Intervention FT introduced A to verbal self-instruction training. Using the unit workbook on fractions, FT taught A the key questions to ask himself to solve equivalent fraction problems. A was able to solve a few problems successfully. FT will continue to support A in integrating this verbal self-instruction training into his mental processes.

We withdraw when it's 10% greater than the desired balance so there's something to withdraw.

Otherwise, if your balance were 12101 sats, we'd withdraw 1 sat.

Yes, we hold our money that we're paying you until you withdraw it. Legally, that money is not yours until you withdraw it.

Yes, unless your receive wallet fails, or the zap is below the receiving dust limit in your settings.

By default, we prioritize sats for zaps when you have a send wallet setup. If you have a send wallet attached but would prefer to use CCs when you have them, increase the sending dust limit in your settings.

Anybody use the US Bank Smartly 4% card? Thinking of trying that but I have a feeling they will nerf it once everyone starts using it to get 2% net back on tax payments… (also in the middle of churning a business card)

Me and my wife finished season 2 of Squid Games. We usually rate our shows similarly, but this time we got a first: I would rate it a solid 8/10, especially with the high bar set by season 1, while she has hugely disappointed. Did you see it? Did you like it? Let's avoid spoilers~~

After the first two episodes, I was so worried it was going to be all k-drama. I was happy they got back to the game. Still, it ended weakly.

It was as if the writer said: "People want what I want! It's perfect, I don't want to write an ending, and coincidentally(!), they want a cliffhanger! That's it. I'm in big leagues now, that's what they do. I didn't know if we'd get more than one season, so it had to be a complete story. I don't need to bother with those anymore."

It's like how a naive engineer designs a UI/UX: "People want what I want! All the guts of the internals exposed. I don't make any hard decisions - they do!"

I thought it was great until the last episode.

The whole show requires you to suspend disbelief but their plan at the end was so harebrained and destined for failure I couldn't get over it. Such a dumb plan no one would ever have agreed to especially when they were so close to securing the bag.

Korean grandma was the show's MVP.

I think it's worth it. She didn't.

They jumped the shark in the last episode of season 2 (which is kinda a cliffhanger towards season 3 to be released this year, also), but I didn't get bothered by it as anyhow, the whole premise is not super realistic to begin with~~

She loves money much more than I do, so we'd likely have very different incentives. Yet, I'm very competitive, so there's that. Don't think we'd get very far though, as a couple. It'd be interesting to figure out if I'd be able to sacrifice her or myself for either one's survival.

By the way, Silo season 2 ended up being quite the disappointment after the great first season. Guess we'll still try to finish it, but already behind 1 or 2 episodes.
