The Beatles covering a Buck Owens song! From what I understand they were fans of country music in this era. I saw an interview with someone that worked at Capitol Records at the time, and they mentioned that the Beatles were Buck Owens fans and always wanted copies of his new records. Buck and his band returned the favor and covered Twist and Shout at their London concert a few years later.
