First define "non-custodial"... because I mostly see people here using CoinOS (custodial) to escape from CCs. And THAT is NOT "non-custodial". Is just passing the dead cat into another yard.
I do not attached ANY wallet to my SN account because I like CCs. For me are more practical and logical to use inside SN. I am not here to "earn sats". I am here to PAY TO POST and CCs are the easiest way to pay to post.
Yes, I've tested all sort of external accounts with SN, before 3rd of Jan, just to see how is working and know what people are talking. But then I remove them. The SN system is working as designed, I cannot say that have flaws. The flaws are in people's knowledge on how they run their LN nodes. As I said many times: most of the stackers are NOT prepared for this switch. because most of them are lazy and retarded, most of them coming here to assmilk.

I see, thank you for your answer! So in your case you are not interested in sending or receiving sats on Stacker News, and you want to limit yourself to CCs.
By non-custodial I meant a means of getting rewards without Stacker News, I should have been more precise.

I see your point. I still prefer to send sats and have it reach its destination. I am not against paying for posting as well, like to pay a fee for disk space.

CCs = testnet bitcoin
I wish we can have some kind of "trade" inside SN.
For example @siggy47 needs to pay for its territory so will send me an invoice in a DM inside SN containing a link where to pay for his territory due with my CCs.
But I really doubt that SN will want such thing.

Ok! I'm not sure, but isn't it the testnet that is 'reset' from time to time, invalidating the previous ones? Are you going to accumulate CCs ad infinitum or don't you want to unveil your plan?

hoarding CCs is exactly like hoarding testnet coins: totally useless outside testnet/SN.
When you are a prolific developer and want to test things you code, you are desperately need testnet coins. And you don't have them when is needed. So you call for those that hoard them or create them.
Same here inside SN, the best way to use it is with CCs not with sats.
I can be called SN "developer" now 😂😂😂
As testnet coins are "pay to test", the same are CCs... pay to post. I think you still do not understand the meaning of "pay to post".
