Have been making steady progress in my little cabin project 🙂
I’ve had a lot of stuff to do at once during the last few days and didn’t really have time for my cell or laptop. Despite all the difficulties, I managed to finish the roof and cover most of the building with permeable membrane. I also installed some kind of rooftop fall protection with my slackline, some shackles and carabiners 🙂 (top of the roof is nearly 4 meters high)
Anyways, here’s some photos from the recent days :)
Today I’ll work on covering the remaining part of the cabin with the membrane.
Have a good one ahead!
I haven't checked SN in a few days, this is why I like the daily thread. Onward!

Is it located in an area where you might expect a long, cold winter? Is it just a seasonal retreat, used for hunting, or full time living?
reply
Yes, pretty much long cold winters here 😅 (4 - 5 months long). The cabin is definitely not meant for full time living. I'd like to spend most of late spring, summer, early fall living in it, and visit occasionally during the winter. I'll be putting insulation inside and a small heater.

That sounds great. I watch "Maine Cabin Masters" and fantasize about someday...

what will you do with it once finished?

Rest and commit more time to other activities 🙂 I'd like to work on my project at https://uselessshit.co for a bit.
