There's a lot in what you said. One element that people often overlook is that our posts and comments are not isolated. It wouldn't make sense to treat them as though they were.
Through our repeated interactions with each other reputations and relationships develop. There's no mystery in why that translates into zaps and it isn't a problem either. There are people I zap more, because I'm glad they choose to regularly make content here and behave in a way that brings me value. They aren't all OG stackers either.
This is all part of the proof of work paradigm. It isn't that each entry stands on its own. The body of work is cumulative.

Yes, I know. I'm sorry if I went too far.
I want to make it clear that I'm not too sure if I should be concerned because I don't really understand the technical aspect that runs the paradigm. I only said what I saw. I love SN and I'd like to be wrong to see this platform prosper. But at the same time I don't want that a 10 sats zap becomes more powerful than a 100k sats zap.
I think I should stop it here. From now on, I'll be just posting like I've been doing, commenting less to nil like Rsync and specifically not questioning out of curiousity. It's a big time waster and nothing of my business, but I'm here so I'm part of it, so I'll be listening more.
Thanks for your understanding and value discussions.🙏
We had one before as well about something similar. #730012

I get your rationale for giving up commenting, but it's a shame to lose your thoughts.
For what it's worth, even a year ago I wasn't one of the top stackers. I just kept zapping good posts/comments and commenting my feedback.

Yeah, I agree it's not a good idea to lose thoughts, but sometimes, it's good to keep quiet on SN specific thoughts and an absolute silence for those who are targeting me for no reason.
I'll be there on sports as usual, also on economy and some other territories where the OP really gives worth to my words.
