The fees by Blink Wallet is just unaffordable?
Any suggestions?

Buy CCs to use them on fees or use a different wallet

If you have CCs on the balance, are they used automatically on fees?

Yes

Buying CC would also mean that I'll be zapping CCs to others. Right?
Blink is the easiest and the fees weren't as high when I first attached it. I don't know if SN small zaps has a say in their increased fees.
It may be that ultimately other wallets decide the same?

No, if sender and receiver have an attached wallet, we will try to use real sats first

Lightning network is an ocean, liquidity and fees change all the time.

Base fees hurt more for small payments. Basically every payment on lightning has a percentage fee on it (like 1 sat per 1000 sats) + a base fee (usually 1 sat).
For example, Phoenix takes 4 sat + 0.4% for every payment, see here.

It's a free market, so yes, wallets can do what they want. You're a customer and you have to vote with your feet.

Thanks for the answers.
Can I not attach a wallet only for recieving?
Even for a 20 sat zap, they charged 10 sats. This should be counted as cruelity.
