This was certainly another Alby Hub related scare (really part of the same one).
Before the computer hosting my Alby Hub crashed, I transferred some bitcoin to it for the sake of opening a channel to SN. I was recently offered ownership in multiple territories (#826658 and #833775) and needed a channel large enough to support my yearly rent payments.
After getting that node migrated, I was concerned that the on-chain transfer wasn't showing up. I checked the mempool and everything looked right (as far as I could tell), so I contacted Alby support.
The fix was actually fairly straightforward. I just had to attempt to open a channel using the wallet address that the missing bitcoin was in. In an instant, the channel was being generated and my balance was displaying correctly.
Hopefully, that tale will help anyone else who runs into this problem.
I wonder when SN will start being a good LSP and offer to buy channels in the Alby Hub list and for other nodes...
Oh wait... SN is too scared to do this kind of shit (because of "money transmitting license" shit)

You still don’t understand what money transmission means

you still don't understand that their shity laws do not apply to bitcoin
if you are still looking for gov approval to be able to use bitcoin, you will never be able to use bitcoin...
BITCOIN IS DEFIANCE NOT OBEDIENCE.
I will never please a gov to be able to use my sats. I will always say to a gov "fuck you" and will mind my own business using bitcoin.

This should be really helpful. Was this a gap-limit issue?

I don't know. They didn't tell me what the cause was.

So was it specifically this part that was kind of like a hack to get your balance to update?
Either way, this scenario does sound scary and I’m sure will help someone. Thanks for sharing. 🤙

Yes, that was the fix that the Alby support team came up with.
