I don't give a shit about that and I do not see any "privacy concern" from substack. You just have to use a disposable email, that's all.
People nowadays are so paranoia...
Is a fucking nym online "Darthcoin" that have absolutely nothing related with real me, in real life. When you are online you have ZERO privacy. But if you use a total separate nym there's nothing to worry. Who is posting online IT IS NOT YOU, the real physical man.
People should stop mixing real identity with online identity and learn once and for all how to be in THE PRIVATE and how to be IN THE PUBLIC. Everything on Internet should be considered PUBLIC.
I agree with what you said. I actually watched too many movies and documentaries, and a school webinar held during the COVID-19 period made me extra paranoid. I just always keep my Calyx VPN on when browsing online. I have a throwaway + alias email from SimpleLogin, enable 2FA on all accounts, use a password manager, and change passwords every year. It's just a natural habit—maybe someday it will save me from a big data breach. But I'll try not to over paranoid myself; after all, I use what you call Twatter đŸ˜‚. Even though I am not a tech-savvy person like you, I have taught myself to do these very basic things to protect what can be protected.
