I need to prevent that this happens again by querying the SN API if it already replied instead of writing it into a local sqlite3 database and querying it.

Glad you caught it before spending too many sats to post. Do you have a limit to not post more than once per minute minutes per thread to avoid a 10 sat post fee?

Not really, @nitter would have happily posted every minute.

But fortunately we added very recently a constraint in the database which prevents that someone can reply the exact same text to the same post within 10m.

We added that because @bief57 was cursed with duplicate items and now it saved me from losing a few thousand sats lol
