I remember a similar one where the winner was the person who zapped the second most sats at the end of some fixed period, or something like that. Wish I could find that one.

No, I remember it being a guy who posted smart but unpopular things (e.g., he wasn't calling for the downfall of government and didn't think that btc would usher humankind into a paradise) but I haven't seen him since I've come back.

It was @Michelson_Morley in #289395. He left because of #313090. See #313182 for our view of the situation.
My more biased view is that he got triggered that we demanded more evidence instead of just agreeing with him on the spot with the shallow evidence he provided. He then also essentially started calling us unprofessional in this ticket about account switching. As with the plausible situation, my view is that he here also didn't like that I wanted him to explain himself better.
