Don't expect BRICS or any widely-used competing political currency to be a success for at least the next 5 years.
I fully agree with you, with one exception: if/when they understand that they need good money and decide that the right currency is Bitcoin and Litecoin. Then, the success might come much faster than we might think.
The rest of the world, not only BRICS also needs to understand that, IMO.
