Start by making small talk. "How's business?" "Was it hard to keep your business afloat during Covid?" "Do you use Uber Eats/Door Dash for your business, why or why not?" "Did you go to culinary school (if restaurant) or business school?"
Get to know the owner of the business. Share a bit about yourself. After that, while your food is cooking or whatever, ask them if they accept Bitcoin. More than likely, they'll say no...but then tell them that you want to tip them in Bitcoin (a larger than normal tip to entice them).
But if this doesn't work, mention that this could be a great opportunity for their business to get ahead of the other surrounding businesses by being the first to accept Bitcoin.
And if THAT doesn't work, bring up the fact that they'll be saving 3% since that's what credit cards usually charge the business for accepting credit cards...mention there are negligible fees with Bitcoin and Lightning.
I've yet to try this full strategy and fail to get an owner to download Muun LN wallet and accept a $10 tip in Bitcoin (now about 50k sats). This method seriously works every single time. Go out and try it! Work for Bitcoin! Let's orange pill the world!
