No, is a false impression. I know personally a lot of women in Bitcoin. And we have also many women in Bitcoin developing code wagon. Only that you do not see them active online debating with shitcoiners it doesn't mean do not exist.

I think it's all part of the numbness that most people live in. Waking up means more responsibility, more work, more attention, learning new subjects and unlearning the old. I think it doesn't matter if you're a man or a woman, at first it's hard to pay attention to bitcoin because of these aspects, and if you add to this that there are people who live in relatively prosperous places speaking in fiduciary terms, and have never seen or lived through an economic crisis.

I think you don't know many women in your life or you just don't meet them. I personally know a few bitcoiners, I can count 9 and 4 of them are women.

There are less women in finances too. Unfortunately they get places later.

The Bitcoin communities, mainly formed by men aren't exactly welcoming to women.

Plus they are on charge of kids and elder in many cases, and that means less time to learn or worry about anything else.

My wife gets the point and self-custodies her bitcoin.

It seems many women would rather avoid money talk and are in a way programmed by society to be poor in that area.

I also think distribution is skewed and part of the explanation is what you say about women in tech.

This is an interesting topic as there will never be wide adoption until women are into it and start raising kids in the new model.

Women tend to be more interested in people, and men tend to be more interested in things. This is a very broad generalisation.

I have a sibling I asked this once to which she replied It's like a car I don't need to know how it works just how to use it. Is the way she described how she looks at money she doesn't need to know how it works just how to use it...lost in the matrix so now I just build since we are believe it when I see it minded slowly she's seeing the difference i purchasing power and also the slow drip of other women coming into the space definitely helps also

Even those that do, probably have no interest in the cultural aspects of Bitcoin and are only interested as a way to save/grow wealth.

as I woman I disagree with this. you just need to have the right mindset. btc was influenced by my father and it took me time to realize how powerful it is. but I do now, that's the important thing

It's definitely more of a masculine type thing overall. It's normal for women to be less concerned with things like money in general. Women are more so feelings, intuitive, in their bodies. Men are more in their heads, intellectual. Obviously there is a spectrum in how we all show up. But in general terms it's not a feminine thing. Just like computer programming is also generally a more masculine activity. It all seems natural to me. Of course in upside down world, we are told to forget what makes us unique in these ways, but it's normal for the 2 genders to fill different rolls. Money, finance, technology, mechanical things, these are more masculine for sure.
