that's true, i live in a rural village with a very small social circle. i don't know a single person irl that even basically knows what bitcoin is (apart from some basic MSM stuff)

i was more going by what i see on the web etc and wondering if the stats mirrored the women in tech stats for example

I think you don't know many women in your life or you just don't meet them. I personally know a few bitcoiners, I can count 9 and 4 of them are women.
