Probably because Bitcoin is usually presented as an investment or a get rich schema (lambo buying idiocy, etc.) instead of the powerful emancipating tool that it really is.
Bitcoin and feminism are truly non violent revolutionary movements against the neo-liberalism that is driving the world to the largest inequality that has ever existed. Women need to realize that Bitcoin is such a powerful tool that benefits you more the more marginalized you are.
i do remember seeing Roya's stuff about helping women in Afghanistan using bitcoin , which i thought was very cool.
In the West, as you say, it's most depicted as a get rich quick thing
