Bloomberg reports that Syrian President Bashar al-Assad recently contacted the United States through Back-Channels in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), offering to “Cut all Ties” with both Iran and Hezbollah if the U.S. and Western Countries assist him with remaining in Power. Al-Assad is said to have also tried and failed to speak to President-Elect Donald J. Trump about the offer, with him now attempting to contact several Western and Middle Eastern Countries to request Asylum.
