Zap big. Zap often.
That means you are feeding the assmilkers that rely on SN daily rewards.
False. I'm encouraging people to support good content, of which there's usually plenty.

Remove leaderboard and daily SN pool rewards and let's see if you continue zapping... the assmilkers.

Since I was zapping before there was a leaderboard and when it wasn't rewarded, the odds are pretty good that I would continue.
Getting rid of rewards would be a huge mistake and not likely to happen. Incentivizing zapping is why things get zapped so much more here than on nostr and why we get such better content.
We can ignore, downzap, and mute the ass-milkers and they'll go away on their own.

As I always said: one thing is to GIVE to somebody some sats as a reward, because you really want it and they deserve it... and another thing is to zap continuously whatever post, just to be ranked in a stupid leaderboard that in the end of the day you get some other sats from people that paid to post.
I am refusing to post more things because that way the sats paid to post are going to assmilkers gaming the leaderboard. I prefer to just comment and give sats only to specific stackers or even going back few days and zap them so will not be reflected in the daily ranks.
Why? Because I want separate zaps sats than upvotes for ranking. The amount of sats is ONLY a personal appreciation to OP not to gain ranks. But many are abusing this, thinking that will earn more sats from daily rewards. Zaps/sats must be separate than ranks/upvotes.

We can have different visions for SN. I don't see the point of adding cheap talk into the system. Costly signals are part of what makes SN special.
Btw, comment fees also go into the rewards pool. You either have to come to terms with the system in place, leave, or just abuse the freebie system.

i think it's reasonable to give the parasites a sat-fast: a surprise week with no rewards, once a month or so, and see how this affects the quality of posts. intermittent fasting eliminates parasites and cancer too.

Good point, good analogy, and good idea.
I like these sorts of experiments. The devs still have lots to learn about how all these mechanisms play out in practice.
