Sir, I've seen the analytics and they are good.
I don't know how it's good when zappers are decreasing/disappearing.
I agree. But it seems that only a few stackers are zapping (big or low) and the rest are just onlookers.
My question is why this number of zappers has drastically decreased?
Why can't we all zap small/big on all big (all top quality posts) posts? Where are all those stackers Who were zapping in January or February?
They weren't real stackers. Many were bots and other accounts trying to game the rewards system.
A couple of months ago, the SN team increased the fee on zaps and those grifter accounts went away.

So, you mean 181 stackers who zapped on this #379225 were mostly grifters?

I'm sure some of them were, but there are a couple of other factors to keep in mind.
The rewards system has changed over time. Zapping may have been more heavily rewarded back then. I don't remember exactly when it was, but there was a period where zapping was the only way to earn rewards.
Many stackers did leave after Million Sat Madness. That's why I emphasized what's happened since June.

Okay I get it a little bit. There were times when people zapped to earn rewards. But I think this is the same even now. Stackers earn rewards for zapping, I think.
But you've to agree that for some or the other reason stackers Who were zappers disappeared and this procession is continuously going on.
SN is such a great platform, I don't know why the entire world is still not here even after 3 years.
Zapping as I said is the soul of SN which we have to rely on for the success of SN. (I may be wrong).

I agree with the first part, but not the second. Since June, I don't think we've lost many zappers.
You do get rewarded for zapping now, but it was more than twice as much when they were running that experiment.

From June it seems thd median of zappers on top posts is about same.
I can confirm it because I've seen the number of zappers on every top post since January this year.
Do you also think zapping is the soul of SN?

Sort of. I think the rewards system that incentivizes zapping is the soul of SN.

I completly get your point about double rewards now. More reward means more zapping.
I agree and I'll extend it further however I don't understand it too well.
For me SN rewards are like monetization on youtube or any other platform but with a big difference.

YT only rewards the content whereas SN rewards both the content creators and content consumers.

The only problem here I see is that the rewards for the consumers on SN has to be financed by SN as of now. However this can easily be solved by pinning up a monthly advertisement on top of home page for 3 million sats.

But then again why would someone give 3M sats when there are hardly 100 tk 200 active users daily?

So, the real problem I guess is we don't have mass entrance on SN upto now.

The other thing about rewards being manipulated is what I totally disagree. I've tried zapping early but didn't get the desired results. I don't know what makes you there on the top? But I think it can be a mix of creating v4v content and zapping top content.
