As title says, I just have to put it out of my mouth - tomorrow I will buy my first gold bar ever, and emotions inside me are huge about this. Actually, BTC did already over x6 since its 2022 bottom, and I had this privilege to DCA strongly around this time, so just decided that it's good time to diversify small part of stack into something else, respected for years in real world! BTC already gave me numbers muuch above expectations, and IM SO FREAKIN GRATEFUL because it wouldn't be happening tomorrow if not the BTC journey - and all the knowledge that I went through during long long researches about markets.
Life feels really cool sometimes! Trying to stay humble, but its "challenging" for me these green days, how do you all handle new emotions that are given us recently by this market?! :D

I wandered into a gold coin/collectible type shop a couple weeks ago, and talked to the owner. Apparently at least once a day somebody comes in and tries to sell them a gold-covered tungsten coin. Many of them are apparently con artists, but some of them have have been conned themselves.

How will you verify that you’re buying real gold and not just gold-plated tungsten?
Real gold is dense and heavy. Look for a rich, buttery color and shine. Bite test too; gold is soft.
