I think it's just a smartphone with some sturdy case around it.

It's definitely cool but I still see some issues:

* They probably don't keep the sats and instantly dump them for fiat
* customers pay the same price as in fiat + market rate spread + network fees. That sounds unfair given that merchant does not have to pay 3% visa fees, they could offer a discount.
