They probably don't keep the sats and instantly dump them for fiat
customers pay the same price as in fiat + market rate spread + network fees. That sounds unfair given that merchant does not have to pay 3% visa fees, they could offer a discount.
why are fancy looking PoS needed? That creates the wrong impression. We should spread the message that merchants can re(use) any computing device as a PoS.

I think it's just a smartphone with some sturdy case around it.
One of bitcoin's main selling points should be that you can use it on any general computing device. No need for some weird PoS terminal as shown in this spot (they use a regular smartphone if I'm not mistaken).
caus bitcoin is decentralized and it could cause them more trouble than gain. accepting paypal is much easier since you can just call them if anything is wrong, and usually there isnt anything wrong because its a simple albeit closed system.
paypal should put bitcoin into their system it will make things much easier for most people. i dont understand why i cannot use paypal to give bitcoin to someone, and then of course paypal should also enable bitcoin withdraws and deposits, essentially becoming a custodial wallet. this would be amazing
It's definitely cool but I still see some issues:

Lemme get a Big Mac for 15k sats

You can still use PayPal if you want. Or whatever other payment methods they had before.
emphasis on usually
