Applications close: December 31, 2024 Program begins: January 13, 2025
Open to everyone. Totally free.
If in doubt, you should apply.
I did this last year. It was difficult, but I learned a ton.
They used discord (which wasn't my favorite), but everyone was really friendly and the curriculum was great. There were a lot of talented people in the cohort and many of the strongest went out of their way to be helpful, including a bunch of names on the list who got funded.
I was sort of expecting someone to pop out and ask for something from me by the end but that never happened. I wonder if I should apply again to see if they changed things from last year.

The seminars are free, inlcude expert material/speakers, and open discussion. I highly recommend appying to this if you are interested in Bitcoin OSS.

This is different than the seminars, which I think were a solid educational experience but didn’t prompt many to take the leap to being a ₿OSS contributor. This program is singularly focused on that outcome.

Is that what you also did, @k00b? You mentioned you did something at Chaincode Labs iirc

I did the Chaincode Labs seminars, but those were more of a traditional course. My understanding is that this is more hands on.
reply
This is different and will be more focused on coding than group discussion like the seminars.

This is not meant for someone new to code. You are welcome to try but that’s not who we are targeting.
