i have really come to appreciate the idea of "responsible use."
if a man is response-able (able to respond, answer for himself, aka responsible & accountable) then it really doesn't matter what he eats or uses, he can be eating mushrooms while firing lasers into outerspace all day long, as long as he is doing it responsibly without ruining the day for others today or at a later date.
this is in contradistinction for irresponsible use, and this is what people allude to when they get upset with someone using something and things went bad. capacity for responsibility varies, also depends on the severity of the trigger, peer pressure, wrong incentives, etc.
