What would happen if tomorrow all the drugs in the world ran out? πŸŒŽβ“
Wow, that's an interesting topic, do you know why? Because the population is mainly ignorant about the different drugs that keep them tied up and the vast majority act and live with double standards on these and other issues.
And on the other hand, the strong stigma that exists about some "Drugs", the normalization that exists about others, and the general ignorance of many other substances that are also truly harmful to human beings and that are present everywhere, lurking in the shadow of anyone.
Stigmatized drugs: Marijuana is the queen πŸ‘‘ 🌱 and possibly the only one capable of being in this category and as the great Bob Marley once said:
The system prohibits the plant because unlike the others, it opens your mind and wakes you up.
And on the other hand, on a social level, it is something taboo and obviously not understood.
From where I come from, the moment your aunts, uncles, grandparents or parents find out that you smoke marijuana or have smoked, they scream 😱 to heaven.
Oh my dear God, may the great power of God help that boy...
Which is super funny and ironicπŸ˜‚ because their ignorance does not allow them to look beyond to understand that. And I say this with basis and foundation. And these same people who are scandalized by marijuana are generally supporters or consumers of the following categories, whether normalized or harmful.
And something really ironic is that the herb is the only one that you only have to grow to use it. See how the very earth created by the supposed divine God that many follow, gives you this wonderful plant just as it can give you tomatoes or potatoes.
Normalized Drugs: Alcohol, Tobacco, drugs and Coffee β˜• you have no idea how many times in my life I have seen people who firmly point out others for using marijuana for example, and these same people who point out are totally addicted and dependent on one of the aforementioned, and in most cases I would dare to say that many of them end up being addicted to all of them at some point in their life.
Alcohol: Of the three, the worst, and I would say the most normalized of all, obviously here comes the state intervention, those who profit from the industry that produces this, and I am sure that it is an ingredient that cannot be missing in the "State Control", it is what keeps people docile and attentive to the football game ⚽ of each week. This is something so stupidly normalized that where I come from, it is common that at 13, 14, 15 years old they allow you to drink alcohol until you lose control. And they end up softening the stupidity with famous phrases like:
  • Leave him at home and nothing will happen
  • It doesn't matter if he has a few too many drinks, he's a studious young man
  • It doesn't matter, we're at a party, and he doesn't do it every day
And a bunch more stupid things that Normies usually say.
And it should be mentioned that a highly alcoholic person can easily hurt others or themselves.
Tobacco is almost the same here, normalized by large companies and governments. In some cases, it is not frowned upon in families where they already smoke. And in other cases where perhaps not, it is obviously frowned upon and pointed out. But we continue in the same hypocritical picture as always.
In World War II and during the Vietnam War, something that could not be missing from the soldiers' backpacks were cigarette packs, perhaps some even carried more cigarettes than bullets And a few years ago it was seen as something that the upper social classes did, all manipulated by factories and governments to make money
And the sleeping people only judge or go along with what the manipulator on duty tells them.
Coffee Let's say that of the it is the most harmless, however it is also and can be considered a Normalized Drug I personally have lived with people who are mere coffee addicts, they drink it throughout the day, and it conditions moods and even physiological conditions in the body πŸ’© and here we find once again the same pattern, normalized by companies and governments for the population to consume it. Coffee is something so normalized that it is normal to see people giving coffee to children at certain times of the day. And once again we see the double morality this same type of sleeping person is the one who then raises their pointing finger and judges.
Drugs This last of the normalized ones is equal to or worse than alcohol. Both together are the two worst of the normalized drugs that move day to day in the society (dirt) in which we live. Used by countless people for all kinds of situations, and once again it is something that is double-standard and highly addictive. And once again it is something where Governments and Industries intervene directly 🏭 both in its normalization and obviously in its manufacture and distribution. And be careful, we only talk about Normalized Drugs for consumption, we will leave to debate on another day other normalized drugs such as:
  • Religion
  • Football
  • Sports betting
Just to mention some important examples.
And finally.
Harmful or highly damaging drugs here the list is too long to mention them all, in society they consume from heroin, cocaine, methamphetamine and a series of other drugs that end in "ina", ecstasy, morphine, LCD and many more and the link that unites them all in the same chain is that they are prohibited and moved by drug trafficking which the government has never, ever been able to combat. Which seems crazy to me, and I think more about how they also benefit from that but since they are extremely harmful they cannot try to normalize those drugs and then the constant "fight" against the cartels persists. And the politicians in turn give bread and circus speeches πŸŽͺ to the population and the world keeps turning. And everyone continues living in their double morality.
If this topic inspires you to say something, you are welcome to leave your opinion 🀝🀠 I'll be excited to read it
Thank you πŸ’ͺ🀠⚑🍊 Stay humble and keep stacking. Ignore the noise
I live in Wisconsin. Since I've quit drinking, it's become extremely apparent how insane the drinking culture is here. I'm always baffled that someone can tell me why weed should be illegal, while simultaneously drinking a bloody Mary at 9am.

Thank you for sharing your testimony, the level of normalization of alcohol is a very common thing in various corners of the planet. It is something that we have been lulled into over time, just as they have done with the act of saving our savings in the bank 🏦

While cannabis can be a useful treatment for certain conditions, it is easy to become addicted and abuse it. Today is day #120 since I quit using cannabis. I had been using it regularly for the last 28 years. For the past 20 years I had been using about 2 ounces per month or more. The first 3 weeks of quitting were terrible. I suffered from extreme irritability and agitation, insomnia, night sweats, and nightmares. Since legalization, cannabis consumption has become normalized, and I think this is having an overall negative impact on society. Anyhoo, just wanted to share my 2 sats. Thanks for posting.

i have really come to appreciate the idea of "responsible use."
if a man is response-able (able to respond, answer for himself, aka responsible & accountable) then it really doesn't matter what he eats or uses, he can be eating mushrooms while firing lasers into outerspace all day long, as long as he is doing it responsibly without ruining the day for others today or at a later date.
this is in contradistinction for irresponsible use, and this is what people allude to when they get upset with someone using something and things went bad. capacity for responsibility varies, also depends on the severity of the trigger, peer pressure, wrong incentives, etc.
